Team Gear: What you need and where to get it
All of the training gear you need, along with team suits, parkas and warm-ups are carried by our vendor, Swim Depot. Team swim suits can generally be available the same day you order them, but please call in advance to place the order and to make sure Swim Depot has your size available. Boys have an option of either jammers (above the knee) or briefs. ORCA Team warm-ups and parkas take approximately two weeks to obtain. ORCA carries our own supply of swim caps. If you need an ORCA cap, please see our team administrator.
Swim Depot is
located in Laguna Hills. From the 5 south, exit Lake Forest Drive
and continue straight on Carlota, then turn right on Commerce Center
Drive. Swim Depot also
usually sets up a booth at most swim meets we attend. However, if
you want them to bring an item to a meet for you to pick up, please call them in advance
to order the item and to make sure they are going to that meet.

occasion through different vendors.

Required Gear Needed For Each Group

Bronze 1 and 2, and
Gold 1:
Team Cap (ORCA carries these), ORCA team suit, practice suit, Goggles, Mesh Gear Bag, Kick Board, Pull Buoy and training fins; estimated at about $170 total; less for boys.
Bronze 3 and Silver 1:
Team Cap (ORCA carries these), ORCA team suit, practice suit, Goggles, Mesh Gear Bag, Kick Board, Pull Buoy, training fins and TYR Catalyst hand paddles (Orange or Green); estimated at about $185 total; less for boys.
Silver 2 and 3:
Team Cap (ORCA carries these), ORCA team suit, practice suit, Goggles, Mesh Gear Bag, Kick Board, Pull Buoy, training fins, TYR Catalyst hand paddles (Green, Yellow or Red) and a Finis Swim Snorkel (NOT the Freestyle snorkel); estimated at about $220; less for boys.
Gold 2:
